Charnwood Cottages are set up on the banks of the Yarra River close to the Warburton township, in the Upper Yarra Valley. There are two cottages; each has its own individual characteristics in addition to a queen size four poster bed, in-room double spa, separate bathroom, kitchenette with fridge, full cooker and microwave. There is a comfy couch in front of a gas log fire, plus a television with DVD's and a stereo system with a selection of music CD's for your enjoyment. Each cottage is air conditioned.

The cottages sit in a landscaped garden and each has a huge front balcony overlooking the unique Swing Bridge that crosses the Yarra River.

A delicious breakfast hamper is provided in your cottage for you to enjoy at your leisure - inside by the fire or on the balcony. There are many local attractions and activities: Yarra Valley wines and food, craft shops and galleries, bike trails, forest walks, Treetop walk, winter snow activities, tennis courts, golf course, alternative therapies and massages.

Directions: Warburton is approximately 1.5 hours drive from Melbourne CBD. Take the Eastern Freeway and Eastlink to Ringwood, then the Maroondah Highway to Lilydale. Fork right as you leave Lilydale onto the Warburton Highway, to Warburton. Charnwood Cottages are located on the left hand side as you approach town, opposite the white swing bridge. 2 Wellington Road. Melway ref: 290 A3.
