THE DINING ROOM
The Healesville Hotel Dining Room was awarded Country Restaurant of the Year in 2006 and a coveted chef's hat in 2007 Age Good Food Guide Awards, as well as the Best Pub Restaurant Wine List of the Year, Australia Wide in the Tucker Seabrook Awards in 2004 and 2005.
The Dining Room is open for lunch and dinner seven days a week and the menu features seasonal produce and a list of changing specials to tempt, such as fresh Yellingbo Yabbies, just shucked oysters, local free range pork or Ravensbrook venison. HARVEST BISTRO
The front bar of the Hotel has been re-launched as Harvest Food and Wine Room. As the Hotel grows and evolves this area has been changed to compliment the restaurant, accommodation and Harvest Cafe.
There is greater emphasis on food, wine and beer with the building now a smoke-free venue. The menu features a more bistro style main course.

Hills are softened by low clouds and mist, the air is crisp, clean and invigorating and whilst it’s cold outside, inside the open fires are crackling and the Hotel has become the warm haven we love this time of year.
Winter chills are chased away in the Dining Room with food for the body and soul… local mushrooms, root vegetables, and slow braised local Wagyu beef are featuring as specials. From the garden at Harvest Farm, the season delights of rocket and swiss chard are on this months menu, along with silverbeet rolls, two delicious cuts of Black Angus beef?.
In Kitchen & Butcher, we’re embracing winter and the fridge is full of lamb shanks and confit duck ready for you to work your magic. The smell of slow-cooking marinated lamb shoulders will fill the family with anticipation of a hearty winter feast… or have an easy night with the work done and take home a curry, tagine or ragu to fill the ravenous ones. To finish, delicious cheeses… Maffra Longhorn cheddar, Cropwell-Bishop stilton or a luscious creamy french - perfect end to the meal with a glass of tawny or muscat…
Harvest café is open daily from 8am - dishing up delicious homemade baked beans & porridge, hot soups for lunch and a daily braise to keep you going till dinner. In the Bar, the ever popular $15 “Burger & Beer” is ongoing and only a few more Thursday nights for la Paella.
A big glass of Yarra Valley shiraz, cabernet or pinot, a hearty meal with the warmth of the fire on your back and to finish a sigh of satisfaction that all is well….
