As part of the 2008 Winter Secrets Tour, the Stones of the Yarra Valley are delighted to announce that 2006 ARIA Female Artist of the Year Clare Bowditch will perform an intimate acoustic performance on Friday, July 11.

Clare's rise to music prominence is the stuff of legends - in 2005, the head of EMI Australia saw Clare performing in a small Sydney pub. He went on to offer her an extraordinary licencing deal, the likes of which will never be seen again. Following this chance meeting Clare went on to release the ARIA Award-winning What Was Left, an album lauded for its remarkable instrumentation, unassuming originality and uncanny ability to tell stories as achingly personal as they are beautiful and joyous.

Clare's most recent album The Moon Looked On is a triumphant tale of lust, temptation and freedom, and has already been heralded by Rolling Stone magazine as one of their albums of the year. With songs included in JJJ’s Hottest 100 and tours with artists from Bernard Fanning and Paul Kelly to John Butler and Missy Higgins, Clare Bowditch is a truly remarkable songstress, and Stones of the Yarra Valley are delighted to be welcoming her to for one night only.
