TWMA is delighted to present William Delafield Cook: A Survey a touring exhibition curated by Simon Gregg, curator of the Gippsland Art Gallery.
This is the first major survey exhibition of the artist's oeuvre in over two decades and focuses on Delafield Cook's landscape paintings from 1977 to 2011, with an emphasis on works that are epic in size, sensation and scope.

TWMA is pleased to present the new solo exhibition Facetime featuring renowned Melbourne photographic artist Jacqueline Mitelman.
Mitelman, who recently received long overdue recognition when she was awarded the 2011 National Photographic Portrait Prize, has been making photographic portraits for more than three decades. Her subjects range from great artists, authors, entertainers and her friends, to people she has observed in the street.

Selected paintings of Ralph Balson and Edwin Tanner from the TWMA collection form the basis for Sam Leach's fascinating new suite of works. With their respective backgrounds in plumbing/housepainting, engineering and economics, Balson, Tanner and Leach have all shared an active involvement in the development of the underlying structure of society.

The award winning Melbourne based chamber group Syzygy Ensemble will present a stunning recital of 21st century chamber music on February 5 in the idylllic surrounds of the Stones of the Yarra Valley. The musicians of Syzygy Ensemble have a deep empathy with music of our time as well as unbridled desire to share their enthusiasm with audiences in a way that may stretch your ears but never slap you in the face.

But you can't keep a good woman down and the Choir is now renowned across the country for performances of passion, poignancy and inspiration. MISFIT Theatre brings us an insight into stereotypes in the teenage world with the 80's Classic - The Breakfast Club. A jock, a princess, a criminal, a nerd and a basket case - five teenage students. One classroom. One Saturday detention. At 7am they were five students with nothing in common, faced with spending a long Saturday detention together in their high school library. Over the course of the day, they change the way they see others and themselves completely. MISFIT Theatre is a youth run theatre company based in the Yarra Valley, with a passion for sharing stories that resonate for youth.

Picture Box Orchestra - Music Performance. Combining Indian Classical techniques with Jazz, Gypsy and Western Classical influence, the Picture Box Orchestra are unlike anything else you have ever seen. The crisp autumn air of Sunday morning will see competitors head east from Warburton Recreation Reserve on our 5km walk, 2km, 5km and 10km Fun Runs, proudly sponsored by local businesses. Most of the flat to undulating 10 kilometre course will be on sealed roads while the last few kilometres will be on gravel paths following the Yarra River.
The 5km walk/run route shares part of the gravel section along the river and is suitable for prams. Bibs can be collected from 7:00am
