The Yarra Valley, home to some of the best wines in Australia is also the heartland of craft beers.

With all the flair the Yarra Valley wine industry is renowned for, the craft beer breweries offer a stellar range of beers that feature a similar high regard for quality ingredients, with an eye for perfection, solid good taste and something a little bit unique.

With a beer for any time of the year, any time of the week and any time of the day, it’s worth devoting a couple of hours (weeks, days…lifetimes!) to some tasty testing.

COLDSTREAM BREWERY, COLDSTREAM

Coldstream Brewery has four standard beers, and two ciders available on tap for tasting and take-away; short-run limited-release beers are available each season, so there's always a reason to drop in.

WATTS RIVER BREWING, HEALESVILLE

Watts River Brewing is two families of mad keen brewers passionate about creating great beer. A small, fiercely independent brewery right in the heart of the Yarra Valley. The results can be sampled at their cellar door in Healesville. Step inside a working brewery and find one of the families behind the bar or checking on the ferments in beautiful stainless steel tanks or oak barrels.

GOLDEN HILLS BREWERY, DIAMOND CREEK

Quality craft beer, freshly baked bread, coffee & takeaway food—order online or pickup up at the store. Beers are carefully crafted onsite - to make approachable craft beer with a range that has something for everyone.

MATILDA BAY, HEALESVILLE

Complete with an enormous welcoming bar and lots of weeknight activities, supporting local artists, producers and brewers. On weekends you’ll be able to experience brewery tours through the brand-new stainless tanks and sample the freshest beer possible.
