Tecoma is a small suburb, nestled between Belgrave and Upwey, in the foothills of the Dandenong Ranges. It is part of the Shire of Yarra Ranges. It adjoins Sherbrooke Forest and takes its name after the Tecoma shrub, a lush green shrub with blooming yellow flowers.

The Tecoma railway station was established to transport timber and is now on the metro train link between Belgrave and Melbourne.

For a small pocket of the region, Tecoma offers both variety and big flavours for hungry visitors. From Indian fare to Indonesian, pizzas to bakeries and much more, you’ll find it here.

Keen on a cycle? A lovely bike trail runs from Belgrave Station past Tecoma along the Dandenong Creek Trail.
