Experience an evening of wine wandering as winemaker Rob Dolan shares his winemaking journey and discusses the classic varietals grown and produced in the Yarra Valley. Enjoy Rob Dolan wines matched to a five-course locally sourced menu prepared by Fondata chef Aloke Kharbanda and his team while enjoying the views of the Yarra Valley accompanied by live Jazz. Proudly part of the special events program Melbourne food and Wine Festival 2025.
Fondata is the contemporary revival of the iconic Weller’s, a place where city style meets country hospitality. The vista from the main dining room is across the stunning rolling hills of the Yarra Valley. The homestead was once a coaching inn and supply store and was the major stop for 'Cobb and Co' coaches bound for the goldfields of St Andrews (formally known as Queenstown). Now a much-loved destination for our warm hospitality, Italian-inspired food, unique landscape and locally sourced wines and craft beers.
