Jean and Peter Wray Trench Cup – Melbourne Gun Club

Join in at Melbourne Gun Club for one of the most prestigious events on the Australian clay target calendar — the Jean & Peter Wray Trench Cup.

Established in 2009, this annual ISSF Trench competition has become a celebrated fixture, attracting some of the nation's best shooters. Past winners include Olympic and Commonwealth Games champions such as Adam Vella, Laetisha Scanlan, Penny Smith, Catherine Skinner, and Mitchell Iles. The event is named in honour of two long-serving members of the club whose legacy continues through this elite-level competition.

The 100-target ISSF Trench event includes a final (Top 8 shooters), with medals awarded to the overall champion, best Lady, and best Junior. Spectators are welcome to attend and enjoy the fast-paced action, with the event typically kicking off at 10:00am sharp. No late entries are accepted.
