The Tesselaar Tulip Festival is a unique annual event the whole family can enjoy, showcasing the breathtaking beauty of over one million spring flowers in bloom. (Including over 500,000 Tulips and 100 different varieties).
The 2016 festival will feature four weeks of live entertainment and includes a variety of theme days including Turkish, Dutch, Food Wine & Jazz and Irish Weekends along with eight fantastic days of fun Children's Days during school holidays.
The tulips are the stars of the show but you can also indulge in yummy foods and market stall, browse gift shops, pick your own tulips, admire the sculpture exhibit and more.
The Tesselaar Tulip Festival is just over an hours drive from Melbourne. Dogs on leads are welcome. Set on a 55 acre working farm this is a very unique festival found no where else in Australia. Whatever you do, do not forget the camera.
