Healesville Historic Walk

The Healesville Historic Walk is a 3.3 km circular walk allowing participants to wander through yesteryear of the region, spotting 25 Heritage Listed buildings and gaining insight into the fascinating history of each, including the Olde Courthouse (pictured above.)

Taking roughly 90 minutes to complete on mostly flat and accessible terrain, the walk offers insight into the region’s past with signposted marker at each building revealing the historic relevance, insights and more of building such as the courthouse, cell blocks, early churches, an old school site, the Memorial Hall, The Old Mechanics (now boutique accomodation) , the railway precinct and much more.

The Healesville Historical Walk was created in 2014 as part of a collaboration between the Rotary Club of Healesville, Healesville & District Historical Society and Healesville 150th Committee to celebrate the town’s 150th anniversary.
