2024 Annual Tourism Summit
On Wednesday 5 June, we welcomed 160 of our Partners to our 9th Annual Tourism Summit. The engagement and feedback from everyone in attendance has been fantastic as we explored the theme of Collaborative Futures and the role of our 10 Year Destination Management Plan in achieving our aspirations for the region.
This event has become a cornerstone for the whole region to come together and catch up with industry peers, meet new businesses, connect with the Yarra Ranges Tourism team and be inspired about the opportunities ahead for our industry.
We welcomed The Hon. Steve Dimopoulos, Minister for Tourism, Sport and Major Events, Environment and Outdoor Recreation, who spoke about the opportunities for business support through the Regional Tourism Investment Fund 2024 and Regional Events Fund. He also announced additional support of $100,000 for Yarra Ranges Tourism programs through the Regional Tourism Network Industry Strengthening Program.
