First and foremost, we create stories that connect with travellers and sell the Dandenong Ranges and Yarra Valley to domestic and international visitors.
Strategically, our work is focused on maintaining regional awareness across a variety of markets, attracting visitors to our region and dispersing them to benefit a broad range of product. Yarra Ranges Tourism has a focus on activating low season and mid week however, our campaign planning, in response to the current climate has, been developed in a modular form. This keeps YRT agile in our ability to message to the available markets and audiences plus be responsive to any mandated restrictions.
One of Yarra Ranges Tourism’s key strategies is to host media and digital influencers to generate stories promoting our core product strengths of food and wine, activities in nature, our townships and villages and attractions. YRT targets media with a broad reach and value set that aligns with our strategies and regional personality. We host content creators, television crews and print media and we encourage industry to work with us in helping host these tourism influencers. Some of these visits are earned media opportunities that we co-host with Visit Victoria and Tourism Australia.
We manage and host the official tourism website for the region, visityarravalley.com.au and visitdandenongranges.com.au which consistently rank number one for organic search. This is a key asset for the entire region and an integral platform for the promotion of our Partners and their available experiences.
