Babaji's Kerala Kitchen is an award winning, laid-back, South Indian restaurant in picturesque Warburton.
Awarded a One Hat in The Age Good Food Guide 2024, Babajis specialises in home-style curries and Kerala favourites, including banana leaf Sadya, beef fry, mutton curry, parotta, dosa, and biryani.
Enjoy a meal, beside the open fires, with a side of South Indian coffee, Indian-style chai, or an Indian craft beer.
Babaji's is open for lunch and dinner and offers vegan and gluten-free options.
Babajis is dog-friendly, with outside tables overlooking the Birrarung (Yarra River).
Bookings are recommended, especially at weekends and public holidays.
Licensed for 400, large group bookings are welcome. Private events, outside of usual opening hours (including weddings, tour groups and business functions) can be accommodated.
Babajis Warburton is 70 kilometres from Melbourne CBD, a 15 minute drive to the snow at Mt Donna Buang and the majestic Redwood Forest, and close to Healesville Sanctuary.
Babajis has a second restaurant in Belgrave, in the heart of the Dandenong Ranges, just near Puffing Billy Steam Railway.
Additionally, Babaji's food truck is available for off-site catering, both locally and across Victoria which can cater for groups of 50-1000.
