Dinner by Iron Chef Hiroyuki Sakai


Join Balgownie Estate this May for a two-night unforgettable culinary adventure with world renowned Iron Chef Hiroyuki Sakai. Starting with canapes and sake overlooking the vineyards and Yarra Valley views, guests will then be seated to taste their way through a five-course degustation menu with matched Balgownie Estate wines.

Expect elegant French inspired Asian cooking using local and specialised premium international ingredients. The showcase for the evening will be a focus on highlighting the amazing textures and tastes of the traditional fully imported Japanese Hida Wagyu Beef. Hida Wagyu Beef is carefully raised in the vast nature of Gifu Prefecture, around the mountains of the Northern Alps in Japan.

Diners will be treated through the evening to live Japanese entertainment, a sake tasting bar with over 30 different sakes, as well as interactive cooking demonstrations by Iron Chef Hiroyuki Sakai.
