Tourism Enterprise Scholarship Program

Then the Tourism Enterprise Scholarship Program is just what you’ve been looking for.
Yarra Ranges Tourism and State Government through its Eastern Metropolitan Partnership Program is offering the opportunity for 10 Scholarships targeting 18–25-year-olds to be awarded in the Yarra Valley and Dandenong Ranges.
The Opportunity
This 12-month Scholarship will provide you with:
- $8000 in cash support to start your career
- Dedicated work placements focussed in specific industry roles with supportive and leading tourism employers
- Free training - Certificate III in Tourism supported by additional micro credentials to accelerate your skills and expertise and kickstart your career
- Mentoring from a regional industry expert to support your growth
- The opportunity for full time work at the completion of the program
Application & Eligibility
This program is targeting young people aged 18-25 in Outer Eastern Melbourne in the local government areas of Maroondah/Knox/Yarra Ranges and surrounding areas. However applications will be considered from elsewhere.

- Your CV including your education and employment history, providing three referees
- A short letter that includes a statement on why you think you should be selected for a Scholarship (150 words). Include the highest level of education you have achieved
- 50 words on what makes the Yarra Valley and Dandenong Ranges a unique tourism region for visitors
- Your residency status, address and DOB
Unsuccessful candidates may still be eligible for study and work placements.
