Autumn Flower Season

Attention all flower lovers, the team at the Blue Lotus Water Garden in the Yarra Valley has put together an exciting new floral event. The inaugural Bloomin Begonias and the Autumn Flower Season showcases Melbourne's largest display of stunning begonia flowers spread throughout 14 acres of landscaped water gardens.

A real feature of the new season is their "Trail of Begonias" that winds it's way through one kilometre of garden paths containing over 300 hanging baskets (possibly the largest floral hanging basket display in the country). Adding to the experience is thousands of magnificent autumn blooms planted throughout the grounds including sunflowers, salvias, impatiens and more. Best of all, the display of waterlily flowers the gardens are so famous for continue to put on a show. Especially the Giant Amazon Waterlilies (Victoria cruziana) with their impressive lily pads and unique flowers.
