The weekend offers a lively celebration of community, creativity and local talent.
At the Healesville Uniting Church, visitors can enjoy an evening performance by singer and songwriter Yolanda Ingley, with tickets including a delicious supper along with tea and coffee. Guests are welcome to bring their own alcohol.
Across the township, the atmosphere builds with music, storytelling and hands‑on activities. The Ringwood Highland Pipe Band brings a stirring start to the Saturday, followed by poetry readings from Laurie Laurence Webb and Andrew Darling. Local U3A groups, including the Uke Believers and the tap dancers, add to the entertainment, while children can take part in craft activities at the library.
A Welcome to Country leads into Tall Tales, where past footballers share stories, and visitors can explore displays from the Healesville Historical Society.
In the outdoor pop‑up space, the community is invited to join a street parade workshop, create zines with artist Cora Zon, try belly dancing or relax with meditation accompanied by harp music. The community stage hosts a free concert featuring musicians, dancers, comedians, spoken‑word performers, cultural dance groups and local schools.
As evening arrives, the pop‑up space becomes the Threshold Concert, showcasing young local bands. Later, the Marvellous March Masquerade Dance invites everyone to dress up and enjoy a festive night of music and celebration.
