Hazelwood Cottage

Stay

Hazelwood Cottage provides self-contained accommodation for couples, families, groups as well as people with low and high-care needs. It is surrounded by large English trees. Balconies overlook the garden, which is always green with beautiful Yarra Valley views.

Friendly farm animals graze the property, one-third of which is forest containing fern gullies, bush walks, spring-fed dams and abundant birds. The property backs onto the National Park with access to beautiful walks.

Hazelwood Cottage is equipped and designed to provide holiday accommodation for all but in particular people with disabilities. It provides some aids, including a hoist. Two of its four bathrooms and the kitchen are purpose built. There are four adjustable beds, one is hi-lo.

The scenic township of Warburton set on the Yarra River is seven kilometres away. It has a good selection of shops and restaurants, a local craft and information centre, tennis courts, superb golf course and a medical clinic with 24-hour phone contact available.

Within the town and further afield are beautiful walks and day trips to such places as Donna Buang, Upper Yarra Dam, Healesville Sanctuary and Choclaterie, the Dandenongs and Puffing Billy, Marysville, Lake Mountain and the many Yarra Valley wineries.
