Oasis Berry Farms

Oasis Berry Farms is open from 1 November to end of April when their blueberries are ripe and available to buy from their farm gate. It’s a brilliant, affordable place to visit with the whole family, with a Jurassic Trail full of dinosaurs that roar and some that even try and grab you, a Miniatures Garden, a glowing Mystical Garden, and even buried treasure to find - and the best part - kids entry is only $5!

The family-run blueberry farm is on 17-acres in Steels Creek, just 10 minutes from Yarra Glen! It's a BRILLIANT family day out because, in addition to 5,000 bushes of delicious blueberries, they also have a Dinosaur Garden, a Stone Age car to climb into, a Miniatures Garden, AND buried treasure for kids to search for on an island!

Their blueberries will be ripe til April - and they have them picked professionally for you to buy, from their shed, by the bucket load (u-pick is not available, because blueberry rust is a disease easily brought in on clothes and shoes). Their blueberries are famously really big and tasty, and keep for weeks and the best part, they're affordable too!

Kids will want to spend the whole day at their property, as there's so much to see and do, so bring a picnic and pick up a free mud map when you arrive, so you can work out where to explore. You even get a free dinosaur when you find a skull and crossbones piece of treasure from the buried chest on Treasure Island. Look out for the skull and crossbones flag to help find the island.

They sell great Fair Trade coffee, dinosaur gingerbread biscuits, and amazing family-size blueberry pies, and cheesecake, all made with their own berries, to take home and enjoy.

Oasis Berry Farms is in a beautiful part of the Yarra Valley, it's well worth the hour's drive from Melbourne.
