Oasis Berry Farms is open every weekend during Autumn and Winter, and you can buy their frozen blueberries when you visit. It’s a brilliant, affordable place to visit with the whole family, with a Jurassic Trail full of dinosaurs – some even roar – a Miniatures Garden, a glowing Mystical Garden, and buried treasure to find on an island. Best of all, kids’ entry is only $5!
If you have a group that would like to visit the farm midweek, or you’d love to celebrate your child’s birthday with a party at Oasis Berry Farms surrounded by roaring dinosaurs and wide‑open spaces for kids to explore, contact Rodolfo on 0419 586 506.
This family-run blueberry farm sits on 17 acres in Steels Creek, just 10 minutes from Yarra Glen. In addition to 5,000 bushes of delicious blueberries, there are lawns with games for kids to play, a Stone Age car to climb into, and every child receives a mud map to help them explore the farm and identify the different dinosaurs they discover.
Their blueberries are famously big, tasty, and packed with goodness – perfect for keeping you healthy through winter – so be sure to grab some frozen berries during your visit. They’re affordable too.
Kids will want to spend the whole day on the property, with so much to see and do. Bring a picnic, and make sure your children hunt for a coin from the buried treasure chest on the island so they can swap it for a free gift. Look out for the skull-and-crossbones flag to help you find the island.
They also sell great Fair Trade coffee, dinosaur gingerbread biscuits, and amazing family-size blueberry pies and cheesecake, all made with their own berries, to take home and enjoy.
Oasis Berry Farms is set in a beautiful part of the Yarra Valley and is well worth the hour’s drive from Melbourne.
