Panton Hill Winery is one of Melbourne’s closest wineries. On arrival, you’ll feel like you’ve stepped into Southern Europe, but in a bush setting. The buildings are ageless, recycled timber and local stone and could have been built 500 years ago.
You’ll discover a family founded and run, traditional boutique winery. You can taste a wide range of quality, aged wines (red, white, sweet, dry, sparkling and fortified) and enjoy light, rustic Mediterranean style food to compliment them.
On Saturdays, they open their kitchen and special diets can be accommodated. They supply tables inside and outside, a full wine tasting and use of facilities. They don’t charge for any of this, but of course, hope you will be drinking Panton Hill wine and taking some home.
They try and look after all arrivals, but booking is recommended for both days to ensure they can give you the best possible experience. Panton Hill Winery is not a big volume place.
Expect on any open day, an informative and enjoyable wine tasting.
Panton Hill Winery is dog friendly for well-behaved dogs who leave no messages behind.
