Truffle and Vine at Kellybrook
Visit Kellybrook Winery in the Yarra Valley for a weekend that celebrates truffles, wine and friendship.
Last winter, Phil and Jenny Kelly spent a day with friends, Jane and Tony Groves, visiting their farm, Flinders Truffles, on the Mornington Peninsula. After harvesting with truffle dog, Lucy, they spent the afternoon feasting on delicious truffle dishes prepared by Jane.
Ever since, they have been looking forward to bringing the delights of Flinders Truffles to the Kellybrook cellar door.
Tony and Phil go back a long way back, having spent their youth roaming the bushland of Wonga Park together, so it seems fitting to bring together the wine and truffles they are both so passionate about producing.
Indulge in a menu crafted with freshly harvested truffles, paired with their wines and ciders - cauliflower soup with shaved truffle, crusty bread and truffle butter, truffle baked cheese with candied walnuts, truffled infused cheeses and truffle cheese toasties. Simple, yet delicious!
The Truffle and Vine menu will be served in their cosy, historic cellar door with the open fire blazing and your choice of their award winning wines and ciders. Tastings and sales available. Wines and ciders available by the bottle or glass.
