The Californian Redwood Forest is well worth the visit. Just 15 minutes from Warburton and 90 minutes from Melbourne’s CBD, a refreshing walk through this majestic forest is a wonderful experience for the whole family.

Imagine being in the company of almost 1500 enormous red-barked trees, some of which stand up to 55 metres high! ⁠Why not take a picnic and soak it all in?

Don’t forget to stop by Warburton and the surrounding suburbs for more beautiful nature, delicious food and drink and amazing places to stay if you’d like to extend your trip.

⁠Locals tip: The forest can be very busy on weekends, try and visit mid-week to beat the crowds. ⁠
