One Tasty Roadtrip: Hit the Yarra Valley's Road to Food Discovery

Come along and experience the best of homegrown Yarra Valley produce. A new event hosted by Warburton Valley CEDA, held on Saturday 9 November 2024, Yarra Valley's Road to Food Discovery is set to be a delicious day of local food, wine, and plump, home-grown cherries at CherryHill Orchards.

Taking place at CherryHill Orchards in Coldstream, the one-day festival will bring together the very best of the Yarra Valley. This event is more than just a day out; it’s a celebration of local growers, producers, and the vibrant community that makes this region so special.

Celebrating local growers and innovative producers who make the very best of the Yarra Valley's produce, this festival offers the opportunity to meet the makers behind some of your favourite produce and discover new ones.

Start the day with expertly roasted coffee by Silva Coffee Roasters, explore Yarra Valley Gourmet Foods all-natural range of jams, chutney, relish’s and more, and delight in Millgrove Dairy’s hand-made cheeses.

Among the local businesses featured at the event are festival hosts CherryHill Orchards, known for their orchard-fresh cherry products as well as Rayner's Orchard, a family-run orchard specialising in a diverse range of fruits available all year round.

Local award-winning winemakers, Balgownie Estate, will be offering wines to be deliciously paired with Cuvee chocolates. Make sure you try this fantastic pairing!

Foodie demonstrations: Join a scone-making masterclass by Mary Eats Cake, one of the region's sweetest and most beloved high tea venues and patisseries. You'll also enjoy a regional produce cooking masterclass hosted by Grant Flack, Executive Chef at Balgownie Estate, and a jam-making masterclass hosted by Chef Dwain from Peach Cafe at Rayner's Orchard. Plus more!

Enjoy live acoustic music by Glen Wee throughout the day and relax in the vast picnic area surrounded by the rolling hills of the Yarra Valley.
