Play courses that tick your bucket list

There are eight amazing golf courses in the Yarra Valley and two of them are Top 100 courses! RACV Healesville Country Club and The Eastern Golf Club both feature in the Australian Golf Magazine Guide for the best courses in Australia. Make a little bit of golfing history for yourself and a few brownie points with your buddies because you’re the one who organised such a great golf getaway for them. What a great idea for an annual catch up!

Heritage Golf and Country Club boasts two magnificent 18-hole championship courses and is one of the most beautiful and captivating private golf courses in Australia. Despite being a private golf course, opportunities exist for interstate and overseas golfers to play, and visitors are welcome when accompanied by a Member. More recently, Heritage has opened the course to social and corporate golfing groups.

Located in the heart of the Yarra Valley and framed by the spectacular mountains of Australia’s Great Dividing Range, Heritage is less than an hour’s easy drive north-east of Melbourne.

Easy courses for casual encounters

We recommend Warburton Golf and Sporting Club which is a unique and picturesque 18 hole golf course with a spacious clubhouse and pro shop.

Maroondah Golf Park has been entertaining customers for nearly three decades. Get amongst the great outdoors on their two 18 hole mini golf courses. ⁠Play either the stunning Lakes Course, surrounded by gardens and running water, or the fully undercover Lodge Course. For the more serious golfers, a hit on the 300 metre driving range might be more to your liking. ⁠They are open 364 days a year!

Chirnside Park Country Club offer Puttz Mini Golf where you can putt your way through 18-holes or their Gardiners Run Course has been specifically designed for the enjoyment of golf. With generous landing areas, well-designed greens and weatherproof base, the course is well equipped to handle both intimate and large playing groups.

Golf, dinner, bed and breakfast

Imagine waking up in the morning and walking straight onto the first tee for a day of golfing indulgence – made even more special when you add a few friends. Meal, stay and play packages are a terrific way to share quality time with your friends, and many of our courses are also the location for amazing dining experiences.

You will find it hard to go past the indulgent resort-style experience that is the RACV Healesville Country Club Golf Course. Play a round or two – when you stay overnight you could even play two days in a row! Indulge in an amazing meal in the restaurant and enjoy the chilled-out, luxury environment of the clubhouse and accommodation.

The Eastern Golf Club is also the home of the gorgeous self-contained Yering Gorge Cottages, set among 120 acres of private nature reserve where you'll enjoy a relaxed getaway, amazing amenities and you're guaranteed to see their resident wildlife.

Yarra Valley Lodge is situated at the gateway to the Yarra Valley Wine region and local tourism villages and is adjacent to Heritage Golf and Country Club.
