The Signature Dish

Paradise Valley’s Duck and Mushroom Pie

A modern classic, their duck and mushroom pie was one of the few dishes that resides on both menus (their takeaway bar menu as well as their dine-in bistro menu.)

This signature transferred from Paradise Valley’s sibling restaurant under the same ownership, The Recreation, says chef Steve Nelson.

“Made using a French technique, the duck and mushroom pie is a modern classic. All cooked in-house, the dish is centred around its high-quality pastry, slow-cooked duck meat and exceptional sauce,” he says.

“The idea of having an Aussie pub with a signature pie was a no-brainer. The French method for pithivier combined with Victorian ducks and local mushrooms is a show stopper”.

The Duck and Mushroom Pie can be enjoyed any day of the week from 12pm until 9pm. Paradise Valley also runs their popular weeknight specials from Monday to Thursday where you can find a delicious steak, burger and curry and our AHA Award winning parma for only $20. Plus a hearty roast of the week Sunday nights.
