The Black Spur is a stunning drive that weaves through some of Victoria’s most stunning and ancient forest area. Often called Victoria’s most beautiful road trip, the two lane road twists and turns though old growth Mountain Ash and fern gullies and consists of some hairpin turns and straight short sections. Roll down the windows and experience fresh crisp air any time of the year.
The Black Spur is a bucket list drive for many visitors and is a true immersion in the Australian landscape. Cars and motorbikes equally enjoy this drive and weekends can be a busy time.
The Black Spur starts on the east side of Healesville and continues through to Narbethong. A pretty destination for those travelling on is the township of Marysville.
