• Prize Details: Yarra Valley Rail Trail e-Ride & Lunch eXperience for two. Our signature Tour! Are you ready to explore one of Victoria’s most scenic rail trails on an awesome fat-tyre e-Bike?! This eXperience will have you cruising along the 40km historic railway line, the Lilydale to Warburton Rail Trail, passing through lush landscapes, charming towns, and stopping at some fantastic local spots along the way. With the power of e-bikes, you can go further, faster, and enjoy the journey without breaking a sweat! There will be ample opportunities for the Group to stop along the way, at their request or at the various old railway stations in each town (there are 11 of them!) and also to to chat/view the local flora & fauna. At the conclusion of the e-Ride, reflect your journey with your fellow riders over a delicious 2-course luncheon + welcome drink at the newly renovated Alpine Hotel. At the conclusion of lunch, you will be returned to Lilydale Station or your local accommodation.

Tourism East Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to the Tourism East competition. The competition is organised and conducted by Tourism East and promoted through the Tourism East Instagram (@yarravalleydandenongranges) and Facebook (Visit Yarra Valley and Dandenong Ranges) accounts.

By participating in the Competition, you agree that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

1. How to Enter

A. Entry to the Competition is open to:

i. legal residents of Victoria, Australia, who are over the age of 18 years; and

ii. who is not an officer or employee, or a relative or someone who resides with an officer or employee of Tourism East or Liberty Balloon Flights, Punt Road Wines, Yarra Valley X, De Bortoli Yarra Valley Estate, Four Pillars Distillery, Oakridge Wines and Warburton Adventure Company;

(“Eligible Entrant”).

B. Eligible Entrants can only receive one free entry into the Competition per person per form submission found between 5 January - 26 January 2026 (“the Competition Period”),

C. The Competition is subject to compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

b. The odds of winning the prize depends on the number of entries made via the competition form during the Competition Period, where the user opts into the competition by accepting these terms and conditions.

Tourism East reserves the right to request any evidence of the identity, age and Victorian residential location of any winner before awarding the prize if any winner cannot produce any identity, age and Victorian residential location verification evidence requested, Tourism East reserves the right to disqualify that person and redraw the Competition.

By entering the Competition, you consent:

a. Where you opt-in for email marketing your name and email address will be added to the Tourism East marketing database and shared with our participating partners (Liberty Balloon Flights, Punt Road Wines, Yarra Valley X, De Bortoli Yarra Valley Estate, Four Pillars Distillery, Oakridge Wines and Warburton Adventure Company)

b. to the collection, storage and use of your personal information by the Tourism East privacy policy, which can be viewed on Tourism East’s website (https://visityarravalley.com.au/privacy-policy); and

c. for Tourism East to provide your full name, date of birth, address, contact phone number, email address and any other applicable information to the Suppliers if you are named as the Competition winner.

3. Invalid Entries and Disqualification

a. Tourism East reserves the right to disqualify an entry at any time if Tourism East reasonably believes that the entrant is not an Eligible Entrant.

4. Drawing of Winner

a. Following the conclusion of the Competition Period, Tourism East will select at random, [using online random selection software], one Eligible Entrant as the winner of the Competition (“Winner”).

b. The draw will be conducted at 10 am on 27 January 2026, at Lakeside Building LA, Room 260, Jarlo Drive, Lilydale VIC 3140.

5. Winner Announcement

a. The Winner will be notified by email to the email address/ phone number they entered into the competition form.

b. Unsuccessful entrants of the Competition will not be individually notified that they have been unsuccessful in the Competition.

6. Claiming the Prize

a. An email is sent to the winner, and details have been updated on the competition page, the Winner must send an email to marketing@tourismeast.com.au providing their full name, date of birth, address, contact phone number, email address, and any further information reasonably requested by Tourism East to make the prize available to the Winner.

b. The prize is not redeemable for cash and is not transferable.

c. Tourism East (“the Suppliers”) is the sponsor of the Competition and is not the direct supplier of the prize.

d. The prize will be made available to the Winner by the Suppliers for redemption as per the terms and conditions of the competition

e. After contacting Tourism East to claim the prize, the Winner must contact the suppliers to organise and claim their prize.

f. Redemption of the prize is subject to the Suppliers’ terms and conditions of trade.

7. Redraws

a. If the Winner fails to contact and provide Tourism East with the information requested to claim the prize as stated in clause 6 of these terms and conditions, Tourism East will disqualify that person from the Competition and redraw a replacement winner of the Competition (“Replacement Winner”).

b. Any further draw required to select a Replacement Winner will take place five [5] days after the closing date, using the same online random selection software used to draw the Winner.

c. The same process set out in clauses 5 and 6 will be followed to announce any Replacement Winner and to award the prize to that Replacement Winner.

8. General

a. Tourism East’s decisions are final, and no correspondence will be entered into with any person.

b. By entering the Competition, you consent to Tourism East and the prize suppliers (without any payment to you) using your contact details (supplied on the competition form), image and likeness in their:

c. advertising or promotion of the Competition generally;

d. marketing email database;

e. in the advertising of any future similar competitions conducted by Tourism East or the Suppliers in any medium.
