Regional Tourism Connections
Working together across the visitor economy
Tourism East works as the regional connector, bringing together government, industry, tourism agencies and regional business groups to strengthen the visitor economy across the Yarra Valley, Dandenong Ranges, Nillumbik and Cardinia. We work closely with Visit Victoria, Tourism Australia, Business Events Victoria, Melbourne Convention Bureau and the Victorian Tourism Industry Council (VTIC) to align regional priorities with broader tourism strategies, access opportunities and advocate for the region. We also collaborate with our local government funding partners and regional business and industry groups to share knowledge, coordinate activity, develop opportunities and amplify the region’s collective voice. This connected approach enables Tourism East to leverage the expertise, networks and resources of our partners to deliver greater impact for local tourism businesses and communities.
