Mental Health Resources

Running a tourism business can be rewarding, but it can also be demanding. Seasonal pressures, rising costs, staffing challenges, uncertainty and the everyday demands of running a business can all take a toll on our wellbeing.

Looking after your mental health is just as important as looking after your business. Take time to check in with yourself, stay connected with people you trust and recognise when you might need some extra support.

You don't have to work through difficult times on your own. We've brought together a range of mental health, wellbeing and support services that are available to tourism operators and the wider community. If things aren't feeling manageable, reaching out for professional support can be an important first step.

The resources on this page are provided as a starting point only and are not a substitute for professional medical or mental health advice. If you have immediate concerns about your health or safety, contact a health professional or an appropriate emergency service.
